BioWell, what can I tell you about me?
My real name is Anna-Maria, but most people call me Mimi; Anna; Ann or Amy (as a combination of the two names)& some even calls me Annie Mimi which irritates me to no end.
Mimozka is a nickname my mother used when I was a child and I use it because it reminds me of her. I'm 5'2" with long curly/wavy dark brown hair and brown eyes. I'm 16 and a half years old, I live in South Eastern Europe in a relatively small country called Bulgaria on the Balkan Peninsula (I'm sure ost of you hadn't heard of it though) and I'm about to start my Sophomore year at high school. Aside from Bulgarian I speak English, Russian and Hebrew. I can also understand and read in Spanish and I can even speak a little. I love languages and unlike most of the people they are easy for me. I also want to learn Arabic, Italian and perhaps, one day, German.
I've been learning English for nearly 12 years now and it's like a second mother tounge to me. Heck, I know it better than my first language! XD
I've lived most of my live (12 years) in Israel in a small town near Tel Aviv, called Lod. That's how I learnt Hebrew... And since there are MANY Russians there and most of my friends were Russians I was bound to learn some Russian myself... hehe...
In my free time I love writing and listening to music or listening to music - things I can do with no one being around me. I don't mind being alone - although loneliness scares me to death - I even prefer being alone than with other people... A fact that makes my father see red, but I honestly don't care - because as I have told him, this is my life to live and I shall live it as I think is best for me.
I adore history. My favorite ears are Antiquity and Renaissance. I adore the Roman Empire and Midevial England and France! I also adore Ancient Egypt. I find "dead" languages fascinating!
My dream jobs are to become either a director, a script writer or just a writer, a photograph or a CG designer (is that the correct name?)... I know it's a lot of stuff, but they have one thing in common and that's ART. Besides, I still have 2 years to figure this all out...
As for my family... Well, that's complicated... I live with my father and my stepmother and their 4 years old son. I lost my mother when I was 8... Anyway, my brother is 4 years old and as such he is bound to be in either one of the extremes: either extremely annoying or extremely cute... I've got a hugeee family... I've lost count on my cousins eversince I found out they were more than 30... You know how there are movies where a whole family gathers and the Apocalypse begins? Well my family is like that... The only people of it I wouldn't trade for the worls are my mother, my mother's parents (who practically raised me) and my aunts (my father's sisters)...
Well, I've ranted enough as it is...
